Larry King, Donny and Marie Osmond, and Leeza Gibbons Join Paul Mitchell The School Wichita to Raise Funds and Awareness
More than 10,000 future professionals joined Winn Claybaugh and co-hosts, Robert and Stephanie Cromeans Kocielski for nationwide conference calls to launch the Paul Mitchell Schools Campaign 2010 FUNraising. Special guests Leeza Gibbons, Larry King, Donny and Marie Osmond, John Paul DeJoria, and Angus Mitchell this year in the organizations supported, the Leeza Gibbons Memory Foundation, the Larry King Cardiac Foundation for Children’s Miracle Network, Food 4 Africa, and includes The Andrew Gomez Dream Foundation.
Each year, Paul Mitchell Future Professionals spend in the months February to April raising money and awareness for charities close to their hearts. The schools of the efforts over the past six years, nearly 3.4 million U.S. dollars through cut-a-Thons, charity fashion shows, and a host of other hands-on, grassroots “FUNraisers.” This year, the network aims at $ 1,200,000.
As in past years, the top 20 schools will FUNraising an artist or educator to win in their school for one day. This year, the top 10 of future professionals who raise the most money in pledges and donations will be flown to Southern California to experience the Magic of Memories Dinner to attend.
For some, this year’s campaign really hits close to home. “My husband Randy and I are so excited to be working with Donny and Marie Osmond for FUNraising campaign,” said Sharida Burkholder, owner / director of Paul Mitchell The School – Indianapolis. “Our first girl was born with a rare birth defect and flown to Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Randy and I give each year to this wonderful organization that gave us the opportunity to at least three days to spend with Danielle before she died. We can ‘t wait to this cause that is dear to our hearts to support. “
“Life is hard, and many people go through very difficult times and challenges,” said Marie Osmond on the call. “If you’re employed by someone else if you from your grief and help somebody else, there’s nothing that makes you feel better.”

The Larry King Cardiac FOUNDATION provides funding for life-saving treatment for those who, due to limited means or no insurance, would otherwise be unable to receive treatment and care they so desperately need.
THE FOUNDATION LEEZA GIBBONS MEMORY teaches, empowers, carers and energizes affected by chronic disease by creating unique programming, providing universal access to resources, and promoting evidence-based behavioral research into the national consciousness of the health services increase. CHILDREN’S MIRACLE network creates miracles through the financing of medical care, research and education that saves and improves the lives of 17 million children per year. Food 4 Africa strives to at least a vitamin and mineral enriched meal offering every day to the children of South Africa, where HIV / AIDS epidemic has left an uncountable number of orphans and over one million school children do not receive sufficient food.
Andrew GOMEZ Dream Foundation helps disadvantaged or hard-hit cosmetologists and cosmetic-related companies. Funds have educational opportunities, Hurricane Relief, and support in the fight against breast cancer, domestic violence, and other destroyers of self.
