How Teachers Should Approach Teaching CAHSEE Material
It is sad that many students in public high schools today are so poorly prepared to work in high school as the work of many teachers has become extremely difficult. Whether a sign of greater vulnerability in the education system as a whole or only one of the pockets of underachievement problem confronts more and more teachers each year. In the state of California, teachers often find themselves in position to try to prepare students for the examination of the California High School Exit (CAHSEE), which does not seem to have learned one of the topics discussed at examination. It is certainly a challenge, it is not insurmountable by any means. Here are some tips for teachers in this position to help ensure that students have the best chance of passing the CAHSEE .

Decrease time and increase the education of students> Practical Time You may be accustomed to a certain schedule in your class that consists of 10-20 minutes for a lesson and example, and then 15-20 minutes practice of students. This ratio is generally ineffective. Instructional time should be limited to 5 minutes and the vast majority of the class period must be spent with students engaging the material by the practice or sample problems. This creates more opportunities for individual attention and motivation. Effectively manage your classroom and it will become a very effective way to motivate students on a one-to-head.
By following these simple tips can help every teacher become a more effective teaching and improve student performance on tests such as CAHSEE and others.
